To get started with the Samvyo SDK, follow these steps to create an account and generate your access keys.

Create a Samvyo Account

• Go to the Samvyo dashboard (opens in a new tab) and create a new account. ( No credit card details required for sign up.)
• Fill all the required details for signing up

Generate Access Keys

1. Log in to the Samvyo dashboard.
2. Go to "Settings."
3. Navigate to "Api Keys" tab
4. Click "Generate Access Keys."
5. Choose display name and expiry time for your access keys .
6. Save your generated access key and secret access key securely.

Enable Transcription (Optional)

To use transcription in your rooms, you must configure Deepgram in one of the following ways:

• In Advanced recording settings, enable transcription for all future rooms and provide your Deepgram API key there.
• Or, while creating a room (or from that room’s settings), enable transcription for that specific room and provide the Deepgram API key there.

Once you have your account, access keys, and (optionally) transcription configured, follow the steps in SDK implementation and now you're ready to build your video conferencing application with the Samvyo SDK!
